CANDELA DEMARCO

ART DIRECTOR & FOUNDING PARTNER

Candela Demarco is the creative force behind Candela Creative Group®, leading the studio’s vision across branding, experiential design, spatial identity systems, and digital storytelling for over 25 years.

Her multidisciplinary approach blends strategic thinking, visual communication, environmental design, and brand development into cohesive experiences that extend across physical and digital platforms. Known for her close collaboration with clients and detail-driven creative direction, she specializes in transforming brands into scalable ecosystems that connect identity, space, and customer experience.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with internationally recognized organizations including Discovery Networks International,, BBC of London, Google, and numerous corporate, hospitality, institutional, and cultural clients across the United States, the Caribbean, and international markets.

In recent years, her work has focused on the development of integrated brand systems for organizations such as FL BAKERY®, Maximo Energy, Overall Contractors, and multiple multi-location businesses — combining experiential design, environmental graphics, visual communication, and digital platforms into unified brand experiences.

Within the cultural sector, Candela has led the identity and exhibition design of museums and institutional projects including MUSA, MARA, MHISA and the upcoming Museums of Aguadilla initiative. Her work emphasizes immersive storytelling, contemporary exhibition systems, and the preservation of cultural narratives through design.

As a fine artist, her work has been featured at Art Miami and multiple independent exhibitions, further influencing her artistic and conceptual approach to branding and spatial experiences.

RAFOLS MORALES

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER & FOUNDING PARTNER

Rafols Morales leads the technological vision and systems architecture behind Candela Creative Group’s digital and interactive projects. For over 25 years, he has developed scalable digital platforms, custom applications, virtual communities, and enterprise-level web systems for brands, institutions, and organizations operating across multiple regions and industries.

His expertise centers on long-term technical strategy, digital infrastructure, problem solving, and the integration of emerging technologies into cohesive user experiences. His work bridges design and engineering — transforming complex operational needs into intuitive, high-performing digital ecosystems.

Throughout his career, he has developed projects for organizations including Discovery Networks International, District photo and its portfolio of brands, the CIFO Foundation, and numerous commercial and institutional clients.

Among his most significant long-term initiatives is his ongoing work with the Caribbean Regional Association for Coastal Ocean Observing System (CARICOOS) , part of the NOAA and IOOS network, where he continues to contribute to advanced digital systems supporting environmental monitoring, coastal intelligence, and public data accessibility throughout Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

His work also extends into integrated digital platforms for multi-location brands, renewable energy companies, institutional organizations, and experiential environments — helping businesses unify operations, communication, and customer engagement through scalable technologies.

Outside of technology, Rafols is a Latin Grammy-winning audio engineer recognized for his work on Néstor Torres’ This Side of Paradise. Over the last two decades, he has collaborated with artists including Ricky Martin, Shakira, and Paulina Rubio.
